Does BJ’s Deliver on Sundays [2026-2027]
Yes, BJ’s Wholesale Club delivers on Sundays. Members can schedule same-day grocery delivery seven days a week, making Sunday one of the most popular days for stocking up on household essentials, fresh meats, produce, and pantry staples.
As long as your local BJ’s club is open and operational, delivery time slots are made available through the BJ’s mobile app and website.
Sunday delivery availability depends on local club opening hours and courier coverage within your specific zip code. Because weekend ordering volume is typically higher than weekday traffic, time slots on Sunday morning and early afternoon can fill up quickly.
Placing your order early in the morning or reserving a delivery window the evening prior guarantees that your groceries arrive right when you need them.
Service, Delivery Windows, Speed, Fees
BJ’s same-day delivery service allows shoppers to purchase groceries and general merchandise at standard in-club prices without having to visit the warehouse. When placing an order, customers can choose from convenient delivery windows, typically offered in two-hour increments throughout the day.
Standard delivery options allow you to receive items in as little as two to five hours, depending on regional order queues and local courier driver availability.
For shoppers in an urgent hurry, BJ’s provides a Priority Delivery option for an added $4.99 upgrade fee, expediting order picking and courier dispatch to get items delivered within two hours. Baseline same-day delivery fees start at $9.99 for standard orders, with variable charges based on location, distance, and total basket size. Members enrolled in the BJ’s Same-Day Select program receive unlimited free deliveries on qualifying orders over $50 for an annual subscription fee.
How much does BJ’s charge for home delivery?
Standard same-day home delivery through BJ’s starts at a base charge of $9.99 per order. This fee covers picking, packing, and direct doorstep drop-off by dedicated third-party couriers. If an order falls beneath qualifying minimum thresholds, or if a member requests expedited handling, delivery surcharges may vary.
Non-members ordering through third-party platforms directly may also experience item markups or service platform surcharges.
Frequent shoppers can significantly lower their delivery costs by adding the BJ’s Same-Day Select unlimited membership add-on, priced at $100 per year. This add-on completely waives the standard delivery charge on orders meeting the minimum order requirement of $50. Select premium tiers, such as Club+ and One+ memberships, also include introductory same-day delivery credits that help offset delivery costs.
How much do you tip a BJs delivery driver?
Tipping between 10% and 20% of your total order amount is standard and recommended for BJ’s delivery drivers, with a minimum tip of $5 to $10 for smaller carts. Because BJ’s is a wholesale warehouse club, orders often consist of heavy, oversized items such as bulk paper towels, multiple cases of water, gallon beverages, and heavy canned goods, which require considerable physical effort to transport and unload.
BJ’s passes 100% of driver tips directly to third-party couriers.
You can conveniently set your gratuity in the digital checkout screen prior to confirming your payment, or adjust the amount afterward depending on delivery promptness and service quality. If your driver climbs multiple flights of stairs, delivers during inclement weather, or handles exceptionally heavy bulk goods, tipping 15% to 20% or providing cash at the door is a courteous way to show appreciation.
Who does BJs use for delivery service?
BJ’s Wholesale Club partners with established third-party logistics and on-demand delivery providers, primarily Instacart, DoorDash, and Roadie, to fulfill same-day orders. When an order is placed through BJs.com or the BJ’s app, an independent personal shopper or courier partner accepts the ticket, hand-selects items from club shelves, and transports them straight to your residential address.
Shoppers can also order BJ’s merchandise directly through the standalone Instacart or DoorDash mobile apps. When shopping via these third-party platforms, members can input their valid BJ’s membership number during checkout to unlock club pricing, promotions, and member-exclusive digital savings.
