Does AliExpress Deliver On Sunday? [2026-2027 Guide]
Navigating cross-border logistics requires understanding both parcel transit time and local logistics costs. For packages originating from consolidation hubs overseas, total international shipping expenses typically range from free standard economy tiers up to $20 to $45 for priority freight, depending on item weight and dimensions.
In terms of overall journey duration, standard fulfillment generally requires 10 to 20 business days from warehouse dispatch to local clearance, whereas premium air cargo lines can reduce transit time down to 5 to 9 business days.
To reach your destination address, a package traverses several transit legs: it first departs local fulfillment sorting centers, clears export customs, boards intercontinental line-haul flights, and undergoes import processing upon domestic arrival. Once customs release is granted, packages reach regional sorting facilities and transfer into the custody of domestic last-mile carriers who complete doorstep transit depending on local schedule availability.
Where Is Sunday Delivery Available?
Sunday parcel delivery for AliExpress orders is entirely determined by your destination country’s regional logistics infrastructure rather than the marketplace itself. In regions with advanced metropolitan weekend routes—such as select zip codes in the United States, parts of the United Kingdom, Spain, and major urban centers across Western Europe—Sunday drops are increasingly standard.
Rural, suburban, and semi-metropolitan jurisdictions rarely feature Sunday service due to operational hub rest windows and localized courier scheduling constraints.
What Time Does AliExpress Deliver on Sundays?
When weekend parcel drops occur, delivery time windows align strictly with local domestic delivery windows rather than international fulfillment schedules. Most couriers operating residential Sunday shifts run between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM local time, though peak seasonal demand can extend drop-off windows up to 9:00 PM.
High-density urban drop routes often see early afternoon arrivals, while locker collection points and automated smart terminals offer 24/7 recipient access regardless of courier transit hours.
Standard Shipping vs. Expedited Shipping
Choosing between AliExpress Standard Shipping and Expedited Shipping heavily influences potential weekend delivery.
Standard Shipping relies on postal collaborations and economy air lines, typically transitioning into domestic post networks that limit weekend dispatches. Expedited tiers (such as DHL, FedEx, or UPS) utilize dedicated air cargo networks; however, while expedited shipping dramatically compresses cross-border transit days, Sunday drop-offs generally require dedicated weekend operational surcharges or recipient-requested premium scheduling.
Who Handles AliExpress’s Deliveries?
AliExpress does not maintain an independent, dedicated residential delivery fleet outside of select pilot regions. Instead, logistics partner Cainiao oversees international export aggregation, customs processing, and line-haul line flights.
Once parcels clear import inspection, Cainiao hands packages off to recognized national postal operators or private regional carriers—such as the USPS in the United States, Royal Mail or Evri in the UK, Correos in Spain, or private regional contractors elsewhere—who handle final physical doorstep drop-off.
Sunday Delivery Policies by Carrier Type
Last-mile Sunday parcel policies differ markedly across carrier types. National postal agencies generally reserve Sunday drop-offs for contract-specific parcel streams, such as high-volume commercial agreements, while standard surface parcels pause until Monday.
Private express couriers like FedEx or DHL run limited Sunday residential deliveries under specific weekend service categories. In contrast, local gig-economy or dedicated last-mile courier contractors increasingly run continuous seven-day delivery schedules to minimize warehouse backlog.

Frequently Asked Questions: Does AliExpress Deliver on Sunday? [2026-2027 Guide]
Can AliExpress orders be delivered on a Sunday?
Yes, AliExpress packages can arrive on a Sunday, but it depends entirely on your local domestic carrier. AliExpress and its logistics network, Cainiao, handle international line-haul freight and customs clearance; once a package arrives in your destination country, final delivery adheres strictly to the domestic courier’s operating schedule in your area.
Which carriers deliver AliExpress packages on Sundays?
Sunday delivery availability is determined by the final-mile courier assigned to your shipment:
- United States: USPS delivers select parcel tiers and high-volume partner shipments on Sundays in major metropolitan regions. Private regional carriers may also operate weekend routes.
- United Kingdom: Royal Mail delivers tracked parcels on Sundays across many postal areas, and private couriers like Evri regularly run seven-day fulfillment schedules.
- Europe & Other International Markets: While traditional national postal services (such as Correos, La Poste, or Deutsche Post) generally pause standard service on Sundays, Cainiao-contracted local couriers or private express networks often deliver on weekends in dense urban zones.
Does AliExpress Standard Shipping include Sunday delivery?
AliExpress Standard Shipping does not guarantee Sunday delivery. Standard Shipping generally hands parcels over to national postal services or economy ground networks once customs inspection is complete. If the local postal depot serving your specific zip code runs Sunday parcel operations, your order may arrive; otherwise, delivery resumes on Monday.
What time do AliExpress Sunday deliveries arrive?
When Sunday deliveries occur, local couriers typically complete residential drop-offs between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM local time. Exact arrival times depend on driver route sequences, seasonal parcel density, and regional depot staging.
Can I specifically request or schedule Sunday delivery on AliExpress?
No. AliExpress does not offer an option during checkout to select preferred delivery days or schedule a Sunday drop-off. The delivery timeline is determined entirely by logistics hub processing speeds, customs clearance, and the domestic carrier’s predetermined route schedule.
Why does tracking show “Out for Delivery” on Sunday if no package arrives?
Regional postal and courier facilities frequently scan incoming inventory into local delivery manifests on Sunday mornings to stage trucks for Monday morning routes. This internal scan can trigger an automated “Out for Delivery” notification even if physical distribution is not scheduled for Sunday. In most cases, the parcel is delivered the following business day.
How can I verify whether my package will arrive this Sunday?
Locate your domestic last-mile tracking number inside your AliExpress order details or via the Cainiao Global Express tracking dashboard. Enter this tracking code directly into the official portal of your assigned domestic carrier (e.g., USPS, Royal Mail, or Evri) for the most accurate and up-to-date estimated delivery date.
