Throughout 2026 and 2027, routine residential and business doorstep deliveries across Italian provinces and cross-border European lanes remain scheduled from Monday to Friday.

Regular Sunday courier dispatches are reserved exclusively for tailored enterprise logistics contracts, peak holiday contingencies, or pre-arranged priority freight services. However, customers seeking weekend parcel collection can access selected BRT-fermopoint partner locations, such as local newsstands, tobacconists, and retail pickup shops, which operate independently on Sunday hours and allow consignees to collect pre-delivered packages at their convenience.

Standard Delivery Schedule, Weekend Policy

The standard BRT delivery schedule operates primarily during regular working business hours, Monday through Friday, between 8:30 AM and 6:00 PM. While standard Sunday home deliveries do not occur, Saturday operations depend on the specific shipping service booked by the sender.

Senders utilizing specialized domestic options, such as Saturday delivery add-ons or time-definite morning freight services, can have items dispatched for home receipt on Saturday mornings. Standard standard shipments arriving at distribution hubs late on Friday evening are safely sorted and queued for outbound route departure on Monday morning.

Furthermore, recipients who are unavailable during standard weekday hours can redirect incoming parcels to a secure BRT-fermopoint parcel shop, expanding retrieval options over the weekend based on local merchant operating schedules.

How long does it take for BRT to deliver a package?

Transit duration with BRT depends on the selected domestic or international freight tier, geographical destination, and transit distance. For domestic shipments across peninsular Italy, standard express parcels routinely arrive within 24 to 48 hours following origin warehouse dispatch.

Deliveries directed toward southern regions, Sicily, Sardinia, and minor outlying islands generally require between 48 and 72 working hours. For international European transport managed via DPDgroup partner networks, transit windows generally span 48 to 96 business hours (2 to 4 working days), subject to export validation and customs routing where applicable.

Transit times commence only after BRT scans and processes the parcel into its physical distribution network, excluding initial merchant fulfillment and packaging intervals.

How to track BRT package?

Tracking a BRT shipment is straightforward using official digital tracking portals and self-service mobile platforms. Consignees can monitor their transit journey directly on the official BRT website or mobile application by entering either the 12-digit parcel ID (BRT code), customer consignment note number (lettera di vettura), or sender reference number into the online tracking field.

Real-time telemetry provides timestamped milestone events, including depot intake scans, sorting hub departures, out-for-delivery vehicle dispatch, and confirmed delivery timestamps. Through the tracking interface, recipients can also manage their delivery preferences, authorize doorstep neighbor drop-offs, schedule alternate delivery days, or reroute the parcel to a local BRT-fermopoint parcel hub before the driver arrives.
